"If you hear an echo, or a loop, or a replay of something that you  
heard earlier, you get into this whole business of playing with the  
perception of time. That's probably one way of explaining why I'm so  
interested in music, because I'm interested in how we perceive time.  
Sound is a great venue for that because you can't really take sound  
out of time."
