Ted,
The Nanobass is a synth unit so it needs to be driven via MIDI, while the nanoverb and nanocompressor are effects units, thus the diff.

The nanobass has a midi in and thru/out jacks but has 1/4" jacks for left & right output; the 'verb and 'compressor just have 1/4" jacks for l/r inputs and outs.
I'm a bassist and nothing else I own has a midi jack (other than my never-used RC20XL) and I want to spare myself having to learn another damn thing - is there anyway I can use the nanobass unit with 1/4" cables?
And...has anybody used a nano unit powered by a Godlyke power-all? I've read that the nano unit have a funny milliamperage and need the alesis wall-wart to work properly...
