I've used an Epson all-in-one printer to do CDs; worked great, looked great, and I actually got a couple of hundred disks from the ink that came with the printer. I did optimize my graphic so it was ink-efficient, i.e., about 50% white space and not a lot of dark saturated colors, but I was pleased with how may disks I got.I notice that the model I used (RX580) is no longer available, but my experience with Epsons has been that they generally get better and cheaper as they evolve.dpcOn Oct 14, 2009, at 1:34 PM, margaret noble wrote:My class is producing an album and we want to print a nice graphic design directly to disc. We were considering purchasing our own low end cd printer. I was wondering if anyone has a home one that they recommend (on the cheaper side).Margaret Noble - Sound ArtistArtist Website - http://margaretnoble.net/
