Daily Digest problems: can anyone help me out?

I keep getting Daily Digests that list that
several posts are included but don't have all the posts that are listed 
printed out.

Just today,  I got one that listed it had 9 posts (and most of them about
Warren's query about 'does this effect exist' which fascinates me)
and there was only one post listed in the email.

Some days all of the posts are listed in the single e-mail.

Does anyone know why this keeps occuring?
It's really irritating as it takes a long time to go to the website
and search the current archives for current posts.
