usb external soundcard

Hey all,

I want to add stereo line in and out to an older laptop that only has a 
mic 
input and a headphone out. I want to be able to run Ninjam on it. I will 
feed a stereo line from my mixer into it then a stero line out to another 
computer. Any tips? I am thinking USB might do this but I am not sure what 
to get.
