Re: Nasoalmo

Jeff thanks that's actually verbatim RPM for my 2 cents which I suspect that RPM spun out of NSAM as they [RPM] quote the writers movement .  But I think the whole idea is marvelous and I've done 4 RPM Challenges and will do one this Feb, it's a great way to break the 'ice' of the winter darkness.  Good to know about this one and assuming cutoff was end of November.  Congratulations on making it.  Will stream your stuff today maybe if the lawyers don't get me...

Hey Jim,

It's very similar to Rpm only in November instead of February.

http://nasoalmo.org
National Solo Album Month is a fun, free annual competition in which musicians write and record an entire album during the month of November - all by themselves. It was inspired by NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month, in which writers attempt to write a novel during the same thirty days.

NaSoAlMo favors enthusiasm and perseverance rather than perfectionism. It's meant to encourage musicians and would-be songwriters to silence their internal critic for thirty days in order to inspire and maximize productivity. The albums are likely to be hastily written, off-time, and out of tune; the main objective is to just do it.
