Thanks for that. Can I ask how hard you push Ableton in real-time? You're 
saying that there's no noticable difference between your single core 
machine 
and  the quad core? I am running Ableton on a dual core machine and it can 
get a little slugish when recording multiple clips in real-time. Do you 
experience this on the quad core?
