afaik KB uses Midi Translator simply because his foot controller
isn't sophisticated enough.
Incidently, KB uses a Mac.

Hope the Ableton guru's here can sort you out.
(it is rather a fiddle to route midi within Ableton,
but not actually hard with Per around)
