Hi Matt
Were you using instrument level or line level inputs/outputs with it?

Not sure if you know about this, but I've found that mixing line level
and instrument level signal quickly runs into these sort of problems.  
I use a stereo line driver after my effects for this very reason.
The K.pro only has line level inputs and outputs, in addition to the
microphone input.
