Violet, I wanted to add my voice to the many now and express my  
deepest condolences.  The words that have comforted me most in times  
of grief are "you are not alone."  With the outpouring of support from  
the people on this list, I pray you know that those words are true,  
even if we are so seldom in each other's physical presence.

May you continue to feel that support and sense of community in the  
time to come.
