Kim and press requests.

Dear List,
  two things have come up,  the first being the most urgent. I got an  
e-mail from a reporter named Gianna  from the UC Berkeley who saw my  
tribute piece and asked if I could contribute a few words about him  
for an article she is writing, and of course the deadline is tonight  
at 5 p.m. I feel woefully inadequate to give a proper eulogy for him  
as I didn't know him as well as some of you who have worked with him  
more closely. I'm wondering if anyone has a direct connection to Keith  
McMillan and if he might be the person or know of persons who were  
more directly connected to Kim in the  SF Bay Area.  I will go back  
and find Matthias' post to refresh my memory on the  background of  
Kim's involvement with the EDP and Aurisis, but I was hoping there  
might be more to offer, as well.
  Secondly, Barry Cleveland approached me about posting the piece I  
improvised for Kim on the Guitar Player web site along with a few  
lines about Kim, which again I feel there would be others more  
equipped to articulate. If anyone would like to contribute  a short  
paragraph, or two or three sentences, please feel free to contact me   
OFF LIST. I feel a little weird about all of this, that I might be  
perceived as grandstanding for press around this tragedy, which i  
assure all of you, was not my intention. Thanks
