Re: Bowing Stick - practice session clip shared
Well, I must confess to know little about the chapman stick, beyond it being a stringed instrument. :) The sustain pick-up came to mind when you mentioned bowing, as the sustain pick-up attempts (and often fails) to emulate a more acoustic or manual (?) bowing sound.
"the neck and strings are so long it already has an
almost too long sustain. Almost like a grand piano."
That's great news. I must look into the chapman stick, more so. Seems like a suitable transition from the guitar.
Cheers,
Ricky

Not that I'm aware of. I tried my e-bow with the Stick but it almost
doesn't work at all. Maybe that en e-bow doesn't work with the PASV-4
Stick pick-up? (addressing Johannes here as well).
Maybe related: There are a special Roland GK MIDI pickup thingy that
has been adapted for the Stick's fretboard width.
