As a new owner of an iPod Touch, I have to say that there are a few
good apps to be found that seem to be capable of some serious fun.

...it's  a little sample of something from the iPod app called
ThumbJam, run through some new software from audiobulb called,
appropriately, "Ambient." Details on that are over here:

No other processing; used one of the presets.
