Re: Y2KX Video

Wow.. thanks Fabio, thats quite an honour coming from you. I felt that the central part of my set failed totally, but weirdly when I watch the video it reminds me of some weird old lo fi electronica like.. oh .. I dont know .. Zoviet France or something... (if you dont know this then check it out...)

so Im pretty happy...

as for danger... I think thats one of the things that appeals to me about improv, and I think Per summed it up well, that was... "I had something planned, but when the time came I just played freely" this freedom is what I strive for in music, and when presented with a crossroads of possiblilities musically, I tend to try the rockier path.. as in likely to fail, path. And I often do... Although my set doesnt demonstrate it, Im actually a pretty OK guitarist, but I really try hard to never play repetitively, I rather let the loopers do that, so they are like my rope and crampons, and I am free to swing about like a naked crazy man... but as this analogy is not going anywhere sensible, Ill close now...

Yours was one of my favorite sets Mark! There was a sense of imminent danger! Intense!

 - I must agree ! A really powerful set driving straight to the unknow...
