I completely agree here. I think there is a big difference between
creating/recording loops & then editing/FX/mangling said loops. I tend to
record my loops with the FX already in place, & other than reversing or
changing pitch, do little to the loop after it is recorded. I read many of
the posts that seem to indicate that looping time is not important nor the
ability to store a loop. To me, both are incredibly important. I want the
time to be able to develop a part & if it turns out really well, use it
again later to either do a recorded version or as part of a completely
different piece.
