To my ears the PS is the most musical COMP I've ever heard. I have stopped
using mine on my electric only because I now have an on-board COMP in my
Godin, so I just don't need it there any more. I'll probably switch it
over to the acoustic/piezo output of my Godin. The MXR isn't bad, but I
think the PS is in a class of it's own. Aguy at my Luthier's shop who has
the Keeley heard my PS when I first got it & said although he wouldn't
trade his Keeley, he was amazed at how nice it sounded, plus it has the
DIRT knob to playt with as well. It's also very small, so it's an easy
placement on a board. The prices new I've seen have sat at around $160 for
the PS.
