Re: rather very OT: Patton

i recommend last zorn's ipsissimus, with craziest patton ever, on vocals, along with ribot, joey baron and zorn himself on sax.

The most direct Patton connection to looping would be his one or two recordings with Naked City, which of course featured loopy Bill Frisell.

(This connection is responsible, too, for a bit of fun of the seven degrees of Kevin Bacon variety. One can connect Slayer to Miles Davis in six steps; Miles recorded with Bill Evans, who recorded with Paul Motian, who recorded with Frisell, who recorded with Patton, who recorded with Dave Lombardo, who recorded w/Slayer).

It's great to know someone else here likes mike patton stuffs. Sorry kinda OT but do checkout Patton and Kaada.
Thanks for that recommendation. I had the pleasure to catch Patton three times in 2006: with Peeping Tom, and twice with Fantomas (first with Dave Lombardo, and after his return to Slayer, with Terry Bozzio (not unbeknownst to loop people for his work with David Torn on "Polytown")

I bé, després estava aquella dona que sense saber que estava il.luminada, exclamava: "O siga, que he pagat per aquesta merda de màquina i resulta que ni tan sols em diu si sóc un Buda o no, òsties!, no podien posar-li una agulla , o que pitara, o alguna cosa així? "
