?I've found the only USB distinction Windows 7x64 makes has to do with 
whether the USB port in question is 2.0 or not.  This of course represents 
a 
difference in performance from Win7's standpoint - but as a person who's 
switched plugs around a little over the past few months, it presented no 
problem with the drivers reinstalling themselves appropriate to the given 
USB port-and-plug.  I don't use Bidule but haven't had any problems with 
VST 
plugins using either FLStudio 9, Sonar 8.5 or Reaper.

don't know, there aren't any error messages mentioning IRQs ...

anyway, I'll upgrade to Windows7 now, hoping that'll fix it.  Or are there
any issues with Bidule (32bit) or VST plugins under Windows7?
