at the moment , best I can do is this
http://www.mathons.com/EDP-texts.zip
a collection of the relevant posts on LD
after loop4 was released.
Most of the stuff I do uses the factory settings plus:
MoreLoops=2
RecordMode=SAF
RoundMode=On
SwitchQuant=CnF
MuteMode=StA
SamplerStyle=StA
InsertMode=RPL
With midi control, in addition to the 7 standard edp buttons I
use the other 3 switches in a bank of 10 to control
Halfspeed
Reverse
Substitute

yes

yes, but a much better way to do that is
to set
SwitchQuant=CnF
Those AutoRecord and Loopcopy params won't do anything
once there's already audio in the destination loop.
Unless you're desperate to "only press one button"
they can be safely ignored.
You *can* change params by midi, but only the Gordius LG
can do Sysex in the way that's needed.
It causes a slight dropout in the sound while the commands are processed.

no,
but you can "save" a loop by copying it with Next>Mult
