BTW, this plugin is available both as AU and VST. No RTAS version though.

As a sound shaping tool I think Bitspeek is similar to Logic's vocoder
Evoc 20, but simpler with less of instrument qualities. For a brutal
distortion sound I like Expert Sleeper's Oomingmac better.
