Re: loop windowing in mobius

Interesting discussion.
I worked with shuffle function in the past, but I abandoned it 'cos I wasn't able to get a pleasant musical result like the "scramble" function of the Lp1.

I've never had an EDP, but I've read the manual a few times in the last years to get confident with the same functions in Mobius,
I do not have a direct experience on loop windowing, so please forgive me if I say something wrong.

Did you try the "TRIM" commands ?
You can trim start point and end point according to your 8th-16th or whatever per cycle setting.

It's not the same as "divide", trim actions will create a new loop with a new start or end point, defining a new loop lenght.

I find it very useful and capable of nice musical results.
Anyone tried it ?

This is blasphemy in my book!!!!

Your shuffle scripts are used by me very much, or at least the idea behind them, I have made some less random sounding ones that just rearrange stuff a bit, and one cool one tha kinda plays backwards...

So what we need now, is the ability to set variables and count how many times the same command is sent consecutively, so we can change the code on each press.

Completely Do-able I would say...

I think that Larsen guy should spend less time posting unshaven pictures of me on Facebook, and more time coding. !!
