I got to briefly use a prototype at y2k 2009. Since it was a list
minute fill-in for my DL-4, I didn't use many of the features that
weren't on that pedal. If I remember correctly, effect 1 corresponded
with an LED color and effect 2 corresponded to a different LED color.
There was a way to dial each LED up and down the list of effects on
the right hand side.
