OT: Making Your Own MIDI Cables

I need to make about 7 short MIDI cables. I think I can just order the DIN's and chop up some mic cable I have laying around, but I might order some bulk cable..  Can anyone tell me if this 5 Pin DIN Connector will do the trick?
