Re: Soft Step real feedback please

 > Im an avid barefooted player

That and the inconsistency of results (when I first tested it---I've not messed with it recently so it might be a little better) are my two biggest complaints, as well as dissatisfaction with the software.

I plan to get ninja shoes, but they're still shoes.

At least they're ninja shoes though, right? I'm not sure if the toe split will help or hurt, but I'll find out at some point!

I think the reason people's feedback has been wishy washy at times is because most of us want it to work and like the KMI people and the damn thing feels so close to what it should be.

But yes, I felt like a bata tester. So I put it to the side for a while... I have faith, but if the reliability/consistency of response problem turns out to be a hardware one I'll be quite upset as they've said it wouldn't be. I've kept it on their promise that any predictability issues can be cleared up via software/firmware updates. I have my suspicions about that. But, in the end, even if it can't do everything, it will do some things well and thus in conjunction with my LG, I'm sure it will make itself useful enough.

I never felt it needed an AUDIBLE click! But a TACTILE click, and I
had to press real hard to make it trigger, but then occasionally it
would trigger just cos I rested my foot on it. It got a little better
if I wore light thin soles, like a chinese slipper (Oh Alright then it
WAS a fucking chinese slipper) because then there was flat surface
against flat surface, but it was sad becaouse Im an avid barefooted
player, and then I had to use my big toe, and that just began to hurt.
I never had a problem with te size of the unit however, I thought, if
they had been "normal" switches it would have been quite fine!
