Some of the best sound and vid quality I've seen on a YouTube demo video. Right, so we're in grid time here. Question: now track 1 is master, will track 2 be recorded to sync with it even when track 1 is stopped? > I think you will need version1.37 for this to work. Yes, the "Except" command is not available in v1.34d. I found with v1.37 that i had problems with dropouts at the beginning of a recorded loop ( and this was generally a sign that the LP1 would end up crashing). (I suspect this may be due to my use of smaller loops to create rhythm ala EDP.) With v1.34d a different approach is needed as it needs some Groups set up specially. Group 1: tracks 234 Group 2: tracks 134 Group 3: tracks 124 Group 4: tracks 123 presets with the following commands: selectTrack(1), cueTrack , selectGroup(1), stop, selectTrack(1) selectTrack(2), cueTrack , selectGroup(2), stop, selectTrack(2) selectTrack(3), cueTrack , selectGroup(3), stop, selectTrack(3) selectTrack(4), cueTrack , selectGroup(4), stop, selectTrack(4) > I use these scripts when I want to have a beat box track going while I > switch between other tracks, in this case my group 1 will include > track 1 as well as track 8 which I use as my beat box track. the above 1.34d solution would (obviously) work with 1.37. ...and it would allow a beatbox track to be recorded on track 5 which could be master. The the Record function would still be initialised. andy butler ps. The new firmware for the Gordius LG2 will be able to do shortpress/longpress. e.g. on one switch a short press starts record, ...a longpress erases the loop That's going to really give the LP1 a boost.
