very nice Bill! i always wisdh there was a lapsteel that could sustain notes for ever,i remember listening the the end of Led Zeppelins "over the hills and far away" and couldnt figure out how they had recorded that.Then in an interview somewhere i read that Jimm Page had done it with a lapsteel but i still find it amazing how he got it to sustain like that for so long,it sound as there is also some sort of organ but im not sure, same thing with some of those Hendrix and Santanas solos,they amost sounded as if they had a sustaier bulit in;-) I guess all they should be the credited with being perhaps the godfathers of sustain;-) Luis On Wed, Apr 13, 2011 at 11:29 PM, William Walker <billwalker@baymoon.com> wrote: > When I was in at NAMM in January I was introduced to the A and R guy for > Moog who gave me a brief introduction to the new moog lap steel.
