A strong culture is one that is both diverse and compassionate, imho. Mutual respect never takes something away from you. I believe that if we feel accepted that we are more willing to accept others. That might be corny and idealistic and impractical and decidedly non-Post modern ironic and cynical, but that's what I believe. rick
