Hey Phill,
i do this all the time using my Adrenalinn slaved to my EDP,what i
basically do is send a stop comand to the Adrenalinn,i believe in the
Adrenalinns midi implementation ti would be Controller # 80
then bring back the EDP by sending some of those cool  virtual comands
like QuantMIDIStartSong or MuteQuantMIDIStartSong among my favorites.
I can also send a stop comand on both or mute each other while the
other is going,do lots fo replacing on the EDPs loop and mess it all
up,revese it,half speed it,multiply it and bring back the groove in
half time all wth the FCB1010.
I also use the StartPoint to redefine the loops begining and turn the
beat around.
however i only use one EDP,stereo is to much of a gamble when doing
tight groovy stuff like that.
Tight groovy stuff,reliable and lots of fun!
