Thanks for the tip Sim, A clap of my hands at the beginning would make it much easier. In other news I've been back to school for some mandatory classes I have to take to keep my job. I've listening to your new album(s) while I've knocking out all the busy work for the classes. Your gorgeous ambient soundscapes have helped ease the pain of going back to school ! :) On May 15, 2011, at 1:35 PM, Simeon Harris wrote: lining up the audio and video shouldn't be hard work. in the movies that they have now (on at the cinema), i believe they use a thing called a "clapperboard" to do it. a synchronised audio and video event that is recorded just before the action starts (they edit it out, so you don't see it in the final film, see). if you simply hit the strings (on camera) before you start playing, you'll get a sync point which you can edit out later. |
