Alternative PA's, power etc

Bike powered PA! Cool!!

What I was wondering lately is whether you could live stream on wifi and 
have the crowd listen on their smartphone or whatever wifi device they had 
on hand, kind of like silent stage some events have now with wireless 
headphones. 

I have no idea how the bandwidth and such would work out.....
