Photo Essay on Flickr

Hi folks,

I've posted another photo essay at

Trombonist Tom Plsek and I go back a long way -- we first performed 
together in 1973. Last night (Saturday, May 21), I saw him perform in 
a trio with Junko Simons, cello and Curt Newton, percussion It was an 
inspired evening of sensitive, low-key improvisations.

I usually bring a camera to these events, and I brought my pocket 
sized Lumix LX 3. I took lots of still image, including a lot of 
abstract, futurist images made by setting the shutter speed to one 
second, putting the camera in Full Burst mode, and waving it around 
madly with the button down. Fun stuff! (at least for me!)
