Hi Gary,
The guy to contact is Rick Walker,
RICKWALKER<at>looppool.info
though I can tell you some of what what he'll say.
Bob must be desperate to get the LP2 out by now, I'm sure
his available free time is spent with the LP2.
(Bob also has a day job and a family to support as well as other commitments, as I understand it there's not that much free time available).
If he's hard to contact, that'll be why.
It wouldn't be the first time a cutting edge looping device
took longer than expected to ship, that's certainly the case
with the Boomerang too...it's just they started development
earlier and have now released the product.
The software developers mantra is "it always takes longer than you think, even
if you take into account that it takes longer than you think",
and that really applies to looping devices in a big way.
The new technology depends not on big companies who can
reliably(fairly) hit a release, but on dedicated guys
like Bob who care about creating great products for loopers
more than they care about profits.
all the best

Like some others here, I have placed a deposit (actually payment in full) for the Looperlative LP-2.
I put my money down on 6/10/11, so I am hardly a trailblazer.
With the recent posting of the Boomerang III, I am tempted to get that instead.
However, Bob doesn’t answer emails or phone calls—I got thru to him on the number listed on my credit card invoice, but that number is no good.
Have I made a bad mistake?
What do I do now?
Thanks for any clues here,
Gary Lehmann
