Re: Midi out from edp.

I hate to see you suffer, Mark

what do you mean by "stop" ? Mute? Reset? crash?
yes there are MIDI notes for sync always sent
so if the two EDPs do not have the same Note# (I guess thats what they call offset) those notes can do ugly things
if thats not it, maybe you can look at MIDI with some tool?

I think OuS would be worse, because it does send Start/StopSong

Ahh, going off track here I think guys.. good point tho Philip...

What Im talking about is nothing to do with offset I think, as I dont have to be sending ANYTHING from my foot controller.. when I look at midi monitor, Im getting stop commands mixed in with the clock timing pulses, but on the OTHER EDP, nothing... just clean midi clock... but I do remember something about the timing midi beeps... I havent had a chance to check Manual yet, since your hint Ricky, but maybe Philip is right, maybe those beeps are affected by offset.. have to check... but its NOT a note off Im getting, its a stop song (I think)

If in doubt, look at the manual :-) They list MIDI note number
commands. Perhaps you are sending a command you are unaware of.
