Thank you for listening, Jim. Nice track and god like Banjo sound. It has the old rootsy fourstring blues banjo quality.Nice mood.Really dig the tone on the guitar and intricacy in the manipulated/plucked like treble part going onThat treble part is actually played on a kapoed Charango with a lapsteel bar. I am thinking the Charango has probably never been played as a lap steel before. If someone know otherwise, please turn me on.DanielOn Oct 10, 2011, at 9:27 PM, Jim Goodin wrote:As echo'd I really dug your 'One Kind Favor' take Daniel. In response to that as sometimes I hear something that I really dig and I react with my spin which may have nothing to do with the piece at all other than the energy of muse that it gave me. This was the case with your piece which I've always loved the trad tune but your spin was cool. This said I've been playing a lot of banjo of late and improvising with it. Sorry there is no looping in this (well maybe some organic repetitive in there) so it's now OT as OT from 5/4 but here is my repose of creative energy from hearing Dan's piece.http://dl.dropbox.com/u/251618/Jim_Goodin_One_Kind_101011.mp3

Daniel that is wonderful! Just fav'd on FB. Really dig the tone on the guitar and intricacy in the manipulated/plucked like treble part going on. I never got around to it. When I saw this thread I just jumped Da and posted it anyway. Its mostly a shot of my elbow.
