To answer the question: The problem has nothing to do with sharing the link here. It is that the DB Public folder can not be shared. Only files can be shared. And just one file at a time. And only with one person at a time. And by email. The Looper's Delight Facebook group has 278 members so multiplying that number with the number of files to be shared indicates this to be a quite heavy task! It seems DB is designed for one-to-one collaboration only. However I have used it a lot in the past to put up an mp3 file in the Public folder and link to that file on a forum. That works, so theoretically it should be possible to copy and paste the (more than hundred) file links of the DB Public folder and make a list to post to LD mailing list. This too is quite a lot more work than I can schedule time for. A dedicated folder, on the other hand, can be shared. That's why I made the Y2K folder. This way I only needed to send one email to each person to offer them access to the shared folder. But unfortunately it seems that many people delete files instead of copying them to their local drive. So the material available for download is shrinking over time. Chris Robert's FTP server is a better strategy.
