To me, "looping" is the "how", and "music" is the "what."
"Looping" is the "process", "sound" is the "result".
Classifying music by the "how" and the "process" does nothing to describe the "what" or the "result"
For example, classifying music as "live" or "recorded" tells you nothing about the style music.
