I'm like Mark here. I never think about the arp patterns, just play
the arpeggiator like a part of the (extended) instrument. But hey -
arpeggiation is not timing critical due to MIDI triggering so you
might as well put an arp further down the line! If hosting a softsynth
in Live there already are good apreggiators built-in. I prefer Alchemy
that has its own arp as part of the synth, so swapping synth patches
bring up new patterns for the arp.
