My goal is to offer digital distribution (sales) of my music - what isthe best way?

Can anyone share a some tips or experience regarding digitaldistribution or online sales?

I'm considering adding an album via CDBaby for $40 which grants meaccess in Itunes, Amazon etc. On the surface this sounds like a greatopportunity. But just because it's on Itunes doesn't mean it will beseen yet alone sell, it will just be available thanks to technology.I realize sweat equity and self promotion are highly involved.


Is getting to Itunes via  CDbaby the right way to go?
