Re: What are the looper features that manufacturers are stupid to leave out?

For loopists that uses the looper to set the tempo - at a sync master
position - some kind of tempo rounding is a must. Mobius has a good
way to do this; it lets the user set minimal and maximal allowed
tempo. If the first loop created implies a tempo that falls outside
the set limits this calculated tempo is divided or multiplied until it
falls inside the allowed tempo range. This way the musician can start
out a session either with a super short loop or a very long loop and
still get a decent tempo for slaved effects, slicing algorithms etc.

As far as I imagine one can simply look at the Mobius feature spec's
and add continuous speed/rate shifting for good looper standard.
