....features manufacturers leave out (SUPER BOSS DD20)
ok, if the DD20 had reverse and ability to control the speed (slow-fast) THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!
essentially to me, you're talking about the electro-harmonix 16 DDL...which does the fwd/reverse/speed/pitch control...
i think what sort of hurts that unit, well besides being DISCONTINUED...., is the interface of the sliders...i'm not sure
if the main population embraced it....except for frisell and nels cline.....
i know most people w/ the dd20 bitched and moaned that the 23 sec weren't enough, but i just wished the notes
would be held in the delay when you manipulate the time....is there some new inferior chip that is used in all the newish
delays (digitech dl8, boss dd7, boss dd20, etc) that doesn't allow this? it's just the one thing i F***ING HATE about the new
delays...i mean, i've found fun things to do w/ the glitching, but i just wish the new delays could do what the eh 16ddl or the
digitech pds8000 could do....i can dream....
yes, boss put out a SUPER DD20!!! or digitech put out a SUPER PDS 8000!!!!

you are correct on that Rainer, I will work on that feature more. I would
just have to be pretty accurate with the taps instead of having a preset
for it.
any of you tech types able to tell me why a delay pedal such as the DD 20
could not have a forward/reverse capability? It has a reverse delay but no
way to reverse an existing loop.
Why are all loopers that have a reverse/half speed capability "phrase
samplers"? Why can't a delay pedal have these features?
