:-) yep.

In a test version of the plugin I've had it responding to continuous pitch 
control.

..and also following midi Note-On over the full 10 Oct range,
...as well as follow midi pitch bend.

Sound quality is pretty good over 2 octaves up or down. 
Beyond that it's increasingly lo-fi.

There's no reason that shouldn't be in the hardware.
