Re: Why NOT Looping has been good for me.
Actually, I ditched all effects and the laptop all together for about a
year. I just played my archtop through a tube amp. It wasn't necessarily a
rebellion against looping or technology, rather I just needed to re-acquaint
myself with my instrument in its raw form. It provided a healthy
perspective on things, and now that I'm back into the technology, my
perspective has improved. Now I can go back to just the guitar and amp and I
am comfortable with it.
