I do do some; live and here are some that are recorded: "Overwhelmed by You" On our Loopers Delight Compilation 3 is one such tune. If you go into my player on my main music webpage http://www.michaelplishka.com/myWimpy.html , the first song, "All the Things I Don't Say" has pretty extensive lyrics, simple loops and live playing over the top. "You" at the end of the playlist is similar - heavy lyrics and simple loops, especially when done live and I throw in an ebow at the end. You can also check out anything on my old Bohdanovich Myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/bohdanovich though there's a lot of vocal looping as an instrument and vocal harmonies especially in the last couple of tunes in the list. Oh, and those songs are all in Ukrainian. ;-) Peace~ Mike www.michaelplishka.com www.scribbledmusings.com www.zenstorming.com https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Michael-Plishka-Music/269928256959 twitter: @plish -----Original Message----- From: Tyler [mailto:programmer651@comcast.net] Sent: Friday, September 14, 2012 2:49 PM To: loopers-delight@loopers-delight.com Subject: Songs with lyrics How many of you write songs with lyrics, with looped instruments as your accompanyment? That's what Imogen Heap does. Most music on this website is just instrumental; I have heard vocal looping, but most of that doesn't have words, it's just syllables like "aa, daa, dei-o" and such. Are any of you like Imogen Heap in the sense that you write songs with lyrics, and use looped instruments as the accompanyment track? Tyler Z
