. 8:15 . DARREN COPELAND . To celebrate the dreamSTATE
12th Anniversary Drone Cycle, Darren Copeland will perform
a version of John Cage's Four6 where Max/MSP is automated
to make the creative choices in interpreting Cage's four part
score. For this performance, the 12 sounds designated for
each performer in Four have been edited by Darren Copeland
from archival recordings of dreamSTATE's previous 11 drone
performances. The 12th sound derives from a mystery source.

. 9.00 . dreamSTATE with SORCERER . The cycle wouldn't be
complete without some didgeridoo in the mix so for the final
drone in the cycle, dreamSTATE invited SORCERER (Beau
Lukes) to bring along his didgies and some percussive toys
to the C Sharp drone. Drones created with wind and hands
and augmented by electronics will be a fine way to

Moving the Space ... Arriving for TAP's final 2012 performance
before "the end of the world as we know it," this new trio will
be performing their first gig at THE AMBiENT PiNG.
SORCERER (Beau Lukes) has played hand percussion
for over 20 years, and the Didgeridoo for 15 years. He works
primarily in electronic landscapes favoring Ambient with a tribal
edge; but also works in Electronica, Dance & Industrial and has
produced electronic music in its many forms for many people
and worked professionally as a studio engineer & producer
since 1996. His latest works can be heard in his collective

SYLKEN (Eric Hopper), a veteran of PiNG gigs brings his
space-orch foundation to the trio, blending dreamy pads,
emo-sensuous solos and edgy atmos. Eric has created /
produced several ambient CD projects over the last dozen
years and is also a member of the trio SADU.
MICHAEL HOLCER merges his ambi-grooves and sonic events
to enhance the trio's creative sound sculptures. Michael has
been making musical noises for nearly 30 years, growing up
in Poland on the Berlin School of Electronic Music (those
hypnotic 30-minute sequences and arpeggios) of the seventies
and eighties.
This collective experience evokes smooth classic elements
of ambient synth textures, atmospheres and rhythms,
enticing the listener's mind to float, relax, and groove to
their space-tribal-vibes. Enjoy !!
. GENERAL CHAOS VISUALS . What more can we say about the
Chaotic duo Stephen Lindsey and Eric Siegerman? Their light
paintings are a huge part of the PiNG's and dreamSTATE's
iconography, so how about we just say thanks guys. You've
done an awesome job rising to the challenge this year.
