Quite recently I've stumbled across an interesting site run by Norwegian
artist Tone Åse (http://www.toneaase.no).
You will find there her research project which focuses on live
electronics including looping.
This is a serious and vast source, so I must admit I haven't read it
through,
but it certainly is worth looking at.
