Well the good news is that Reverse is NOT missing on the RC300. Some have falsely reported that it is not there just because it no longer has the little light labeled "Reverse." But it is still there. I promise!
As for the effects, they're more useful than I thought they'd be, but they don't really get in the way of the thing. It's cool because you can use them on a loop that's already been recorded, or on incoming sound... the beat-synced effects are nice, especially delay, since the RC50 had difficulty being a master for those for some reason. I mostly end up using the effect pedal for volume fades and such. I have a detailed write-up on the pros and cons of each unit if you want me to send it over. Don't get me wrong, it has some drawbacks compared to the RC50, but for the most part it is a superior unit. Of course there's nothing wrong with picking up another RC50 either. :D ~Brent https://www.facebook.com/ScienceGoneWrong Date: Mon, 20 May 2013 15:04:28 -0400 Subject: Re: might be that time From: daniel@ithinkwethink.org To: Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com I haven't had a chance to mess with the 300 yet, but from everything I've read about, I have little interest. It seems too cluttered with effects I don't need and lacks the one I do -- reverse. My 50 has been lacking in sound when I turn it on for the first time since it's last been off and needs to be turned off and on for it to work. I just reformatted it and it still had that issue...I'm going to spend some more time trying to figure out that issue. Plus, it's beginning to get noisy on it's own (eg. I'll turn the instrument volume down all the way and there'll be needless noise that disappears when I turn the 50 master volume down or take it out of my chain. Sad to see this happen, I fucking looove this thing and am dependent on it my band, 3dCosby.
