Just install your old copy of windows 7 that you know and love on your new computer and wait for the world to catch up...  Grab a licence on eBay if you still need to run it on your old PC.  I know plenty of very serious musicians who still use windows xp (actually we still use xp at my office).  Always let other people break in a new OS version and skip as many of them as you can.
