Stathis Kalyviotis

Anyone knows what kind of looper Stathis Kalyviotis is using when playing 
with Kristi Stassinopoulou? Looks like a big roland loopstation in the 
publicity photo.

 . Is that responsible for the reversed  sounds or some other FX?
