Im still trying to figure out how to pay for one :)  I am definitely interested though, the size ,weight, silent switch, aspects are very appealing for not driven programs or possible foot triggered bass notes.

Reading this again, it strikes me that you're probably talking about the softstep rather than the 12 step...

The softstep seems like a generally disliked controller, whereas the 12 step is another beast entirely.
