I really like Fender amps (fav being Deluxe Reverb Reissue) but some of the stuff they release is questionable. I bought a Princeton Reverb Reissue and sold it not too long after. It had weird noise issues. They were fixable with a capacitor mode among other tweaks but, what the heck, I just paid like $869 for the amp and it shouldn't need mods to make it work reasonably well.

Changing focus...one of the config issues I can't seem to come to grips with using my loopers (presently a Pigtronix Infinity) is that of routing my guitar signal OUT of the looper when my loops are built. I normally route my loopers output to a PA rig (Alesis power amp, Mackie mixer & Peavey speakers). So, the loops are playing through that rig. At that point I don't want my guitar signal to go through the looper PA rig as it detracts from the amp's natural tone by merging the PA's output (figuratively speaking) with the guitar amps. I've performed various work-arounds in the past but I was wondering what most folks do regarding that situation (assuming others have an issue with it). 'Sorry to drift away from the original poster's ideas.

You could try the Roland AC60 or the Marshall AS50D (the fender announces 150watts but actually it doesn't sounds like 150watts, even not as a 100watt amp...and it sounds worse than both Roland and Marshall, even trying with the Fender's different presets)
